THE OPPORTUNITY
We're seeking a confident, hands-on Assistant Manager who thrives in high-energy, late-night environments and is excited by the opportunity to help launch and embed a new restaurant concept.
This is more than a BAU role — you'll play a key part in:
* Supporting the opening and ramp-up of a new restaurant
* Leading teams across late-night trade, live entertainment, and dining
* Helping shape service standards, team capability, and guest experience from day one
Working closely with the Operations Manager and General Manager, you'll be trusted to lead from the floor and influence how this next chapter comes to life.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
* Leading busy night trade, live entertainment, and weekend service
* Being highly visible on the floor — setting energy, pace, and standards
* Coaching and motivating teams across bar, floor, and dining
* Managing open/close procedures and real-time operational decisions
* Handling guest escalations with confidence and professionalism
* Ensuring compliance, safety, and venue standards at all times
* Partnering with leadership to lift performance and culture
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You're a strong people leader who loves the buzz of a packed venue and is motivated by growth, challenge, and variety.
You'll bring:
* Experience as an Assistant Manager or Senior Duty Manager in a high-volume or late-night venue
* Exposure to food-led or restaurant service (highly regarded)
* Confidence running shifts independently and under pressure
* A calm, fair, and solutions-focused leadership style
* Availability across nights, weekends, and public holidays
* Current NSW RSA, RCG & ARCG (essential)
* IdealPOS and Deputy experience (advantageous)
