A strong company culture. This full-time permanent position is based in our new Perth headquarters overlooking the beautiful Elizabeth Quay, with 120 to 150 days per year offshore.
The Opportunity
* Assist the Party Chief, Surveyor or Survey Engineer with calibrating sensors as required
* Maintain, set-up, test, and maintain equipment in preparation for use on offshore projects
* Fault-find, service, and repair damaged or non-operation subsea equipment returned to the workshop
* Installation, configuration of hydrographic and marine geophysics survey equipment and software
* Operation in the field of survey equipment and software to acquire data, in accordance with industry standards, and project specific procedures
* Maintain accurate survey and or equipment logs during operations
What do we need from you?
* Completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree, specifically Surveying or Marine Science, or equivalent
* Membership and active maintenance of a field logbook is desirable for the Certified Professional Hydrographic Surveyor accreditation program
* Demonstrated logistics planning experience
* Capable of building and sustaining effective relationships
* Experience with QINSy (desirable)
