This varied role includes a wide range of administrative and patient-facing responsibilities to ensure an efficient and patient-centered Medical Imaging service.
The Medical Imaging Receptionist will undertake a range of examination scheduling, patient and healthcare professional queries and general administrative tasks.
The role includes participation in a rotating roster including days, evenings, weekends and on-call duties.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:Well-developed communication skills both face to face and over the telephoneHigh attention to detailPrevious experience within the healthcare industry (desirable)Experience/knowledge in Medical Imaging (desirable)Experience in Radiology Information System (RIS) (desirable)Ability to work autonomously as well as within a diverse teamFlexibility and adaptability to manage pressure within a changing work environmentSound organisational and prioritisation skillsGeneral computer literacy with standard Microsoft programs knowledgeAbility to follow instruction and problem solveHealthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).
