The Role
We are seeking an experienced Storeman / Parts Picker to join our Team. This is a key role supporting production, fabrication, and fit‑out operations through accurate and efficient parts management. This is a hands‑on role that supports purchasing, inventory control, and production support. Working closely with our stores, engineering, and production teams, you’ll ensure that the right materials, parts, and consumables are Stored, Picked and Packed to keep jobs moving and customers supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and checking all incoming goods and materials against purchase orders.
- Accurately labelling, storing, and maintaining parts in designated storage areas.
- Picking and preparing parts for production jobs and work orders according to daily schedules.
- Assisting with stock control, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy within our ERP system.
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and organised store area.
- Coordinating with the production, purchasing, and engineering teams to ensure correct and timely supply of components to the workshop.
- Managing dispatch and logistics for outgoing parts and materials when required.
- Reporting low‑stock or damaged items and assisting with replenishment planning.

Pre‑requisites:
- Previous experience in a store person, warehouse, or parts picking role – ideally within a manufacturing or mechanical environment.
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain, Experience is an advantage).
- Basic computer literacy – familiarity with ERP or inventory systems preferred.
- Understanding of mechanical parts, fasteners, and consumables used in fabrication or assembly is advantageous.
