Video Production Professional
Dop/videographer and editor (corporate/advertising) - a role with variety and stability.
As a professional in video production, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality content for national brands, schools, government agencies, charities, and corporate clients across Australia.
We are a compact team supported by a network of trusted freelancers, and we're looking for an experienced videographer/dop and editor who is confident on set, collaborative with people, and passionate about crafting great work.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience working as a videographer/dop and editor within a production company, creative agency or freelance environment. They will be comfortable managing the full workflow: lighting, audio, framing, exposure, directing, shooting, and editing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Confidently working on both 1-person shoots and small crew setups, interviewing talent, directing, capturing b-roll, and handling audio and lighting as needed.
* Shoots across a wide range of projects, including corporate interviews, brand films, schools, events, social content, testimonials, scripted pieces, lifestyle, and more.
* Operating cinema cameras (we primarily use Canon C70s & R5s), with a full lighting/sound kit.
* Using manual focus confidently for interviews and lifestyle work.
* Working with gimbals, drones, and run-and-gun setups.
* Traveling interstate or staying away overnight when needed.
* Organizing footage, creating timelines efficiently, exporting and delivering assets to clients.
What We Are Looking For
* Strong experience lighting interviews.
* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a small, supportive team.
* Reliable and available for early call times, late finishes, and occasional nights away.
* Able to hold or obtain a Working With Children Check - we shoot in schools often.
* Brisbane-based for gear collection, prep, and return.
* Having fast home internet - we cover the cost for work use.
* Stills photography experience is a bonus but not essential.

Additional Information
This role has great variety - no two weeks look the same. Many weeks include 1–2 days of shooting and the rest editing, planning, or prepping gear.
Busy periods often include 3–5 shoot days a week, depending on client demand.
Some weeks are more post-production focused, others are filled with travel and on-location shooting.
Across the month, you'll generally work on a mix of interviews, corporate stories, schools, events, brand pieces, social content, and lifestyle shoots.
