Overview
Purpose:
Inspects and processes O-rings to meet criteria for quality, productivity, efficiency, and customer requirements.
Shift: 6:00a - 2:30p
Pay: $21-25
Essential Functions
Arrives to work on time, as scheduled, and follows the company attendance policy
Sets-up, programs, operates and troubleshoots inspection machines & automated packaging equipment, safely according to company policies
Inspects o-rings & other parts for various defects on the inspection table / belt
Performs weigh counting, packaging and labeling as directed on the job traveler
Follows job specifications as detailed on the job traveler and product specifications
Records start time and completion time of job
Follows FIFO protocol for inventory rotation
Advises supervisor of shortfalls in quality and temporarily suspends inspection or sorting until issue is addressed
Maintains proper housekeeping in inspection areas in and around machines during and at the end of the work shift
Observes safety and security procedures
Cross trains and assists in other areas within the QA department as required
High school diploma or GED
Proficiency working in a computer-supported environment with business software
Basic math & language skills
Strong attention to detail
Good mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
