Bechtel is providing a wide variety project and contract management services, crossing all disciplines, to customers in Western Australia to support exciting capital works programmes, including in aviation, defence and energy infrastructure.
We are looking for people to join us in a long-term relationship to deliver these services in and around Perth where we are working within integrated teams with our customers and to help build Bechtel's capabilities for even greater opportunities in the future.
Job Summary :
In this role, you will lead a high-performance team to develop and manage complex Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) project programs.
You will assist functional leads to ensure requirements are properly integrated and be responsible for overall project ES&H execution.
Your leadership will help achieve ES&H performance expectations, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Major Responsibilities :
Monitor all construction approval conditions; MDP, Section 18, CEMP and PNR Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP) commitments for the Project : Heritage Compliance and Assurance
Liaise with customer and contractor team members to ensure compliance and alignment with organisational policies, frameworks and processes.
Participate and undertake heritage risk assessments, inspections, audits, monitoring, and compliance tasks to report on and enhance heritage performance.
Contribute to project reviews and assurance activities against approval conditions and targets.
Update Project heritage management plans and documents as and when required.
Identify non-conformances and provide advice to the Manager – Cultural Heritage and Senior Project Manager.
Education and Experience Requirements :
Requires a Bachelors degree (or international equivalent) related to environmental, safety, health or science-related discipline and
years of relevant experience or
years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills :
5+ years experience delivering heritage management and compliance responsibilities within large scale construction projects
Demonstrated knowledge and application of WA and Commonwealth heritage legislation with experience in compliance management
Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining construction / operational Cultural Heritage Management plans and frameworks
