Role Overview
We are a growing orthotics company and clinic looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Casual Assistant to support our day-to-day operations. This is a hybrid role that sits between our administrative office and our distribution warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring our staff expenses are managed accurately and our orthotic products reach our clients efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Basic Accounting & Admin Support
* Expense Management: Processing staff expense claims and ensuring all receipts are logged and categorised correctly.
* Data Entry: Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks and maintaining up-to-date records of sales and inventory. This includes basic invoicing and following up with invoicing.
* General Admin: Assisting the management team with clerical tasks as required.
2. Warehouse & Distribution
* Order Fulfillment: Picking, packing, and labelling orthotic products for dispatch to clinics.
* Shipping Coordination: Organising couriers and ensuring all outgoing packages meet quality and timing standards. Co-ordinating with manufacturing department to ensure goods are being following production schedule.
* Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels and assisting with periodic stocktakes.
Requirements
* Attention to Detail: You'll be handling medical-grade products and financial figures, so accuracy is non-negotiable.
* Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or basic accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) is highly regarded.
* Physical Ability: Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and handling light manual tasks (packing/lifting boxes).
* Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with the clinic, sales and manufacturing teams.
* Korean speaking would be preferential
