About the Role
In this position, you'll play a key role in delivering a variety of projects for our diverse client base.
As a Senior Associate Environmental Scientist/Contaminated Land, you'll collaborate with a specialist team of environmental scientists, engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, chemists, and remediation specialists to deliver complex site investigation and remediation projects.
You'll be supported by industry leaders and Principals, tackling technical challenges while growing your career in a flexible, inclusive, and highly skilled environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage medium to large-scale contaminated land projects from conception to completion.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants.
* Deliver high-quality reports, proposals and communications for clients and regulators.
* Build strong relationships with clients and contribute to business development opportunities alongside senior leaders.
* Navigate stakeholder engagement with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
Additional responsibilities include collaborating with multi-disciplinary specialists across Australia on major national projects.
The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in Environmental Science/Engineering or related discipline, with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded. They should also possess at least 8 years' professional experience in contaminated land projects, ideally within a consultancy environment.
A strong knowledge of National and Victorian environmental regulations, guidelines, and reporting standards relevant to contaminated sites is essential. The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong project management skills with a focus on quality and delivery.
