As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you will provide a professional technical consultancy and management service through the application of well-developed engineering capability.
The ability to manage commissioning and integration of substation projects is essential, along with providing testing and commissioning services by internal staff and external contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop commissioning plans, outage plans, inspection and test plans and secondary works programs for staging and management of substation primary plant and secondary system commissioning projects
* Leverage industry expertise to provide professional engineering advice relating to substation commissioning and maintenance
* Manage commissioning and integration of substation projects, ensuring procedural technical compliance and risk analysis components are delivered efficiently
About You
We are looking for a dedicated, driven and hard working individual who can solve problems and meet critical deadlines. Key qualifications include:
* Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering acceptable for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia in the Professional Engineering category
* Full working rights within Australia essential
* 8+ years of experience in the delivery of multi-discipline complex high voltage grid connection projects with a background in an engineering design, build & commission operating environment
* Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels and successfully negotiate with and influence senior level stakeholders
* Comprehensive understanding of risk management and knowledge of quality assurance principles
