Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer
The Technical Sales Engineer will collaborate with the Major Projects and Product Sales Managers to expand and develop business opportunities in conjunction with existing sales and service channels.
This role involves conducting field studies of machine performance, utilizing software simulation programs and industry knowledge base to analyze project requirements, accurately selecting equipment to meet specifications, preparing quotations and formal proposals. The role will work across sales, engineering and procurement to manage projects and facilitate sales and marketing initiatives.
The role is expected to support new machine and aftermarket sales functions with a primary focus on Apron Feeders and specialist projects nationally and partner technical sales skills with engineering expertise to provide troubleshooting and technical training for machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and recommend suitable equipment from the product portfolio to meet customer requirements.
- Provide technical backup and product training to the sales organization.
- Generate Aggflow process flows for new plant proposals.
- Fine tune plants to optimize efficiency and meet customers' final product requirements.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an appropriate combination of education and engineering experience.
- Hands-on operational experience in large equipment, maintenance and product support.
- Experience within the mineral crushing and screening industry preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
