The Client:
Our client is the largest privately owned company in South Australia, and they are currently in a massive growth period, growing their network across NSW, VIC and Tasmania. They are on the search for a Facilities Manager with a solid background in the industry to join their team and oversee the facilities across their SA Portfolio.
The Role:
1. The primary point of contact for technical and maintenance matters across a diverse portfolio of petrol and convenience stores
2. Securing services to meet technical, risk, and statutory requirements within defined budgets.
3. Managing essential services like air conditioning, lifts, and fire safety.
4. Overseeing building contracts and service providers.
5. Designing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
6. Cultivating strong relationships with clients, tenants, and their representatives.
7. Ensuring timely fulfillment of compliance, risk, and sustainability targets and KPIs.
8. Optimizing building operations to align with design specifications.
9. Monitoring and managing energy and water consumption in detail.
10. Independently managing smaller-scale capital expenditure projects.
11. Providing comprehensive monthly activity reports
The Ideal Candidate:
12. Trade background and/or related tertiary qualification
13. Experience managing a multitude of stakeholders
14. Local experience working in a facilities management role
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
16. Project management experience ideal
17. Excellent budgeting understanding and financial acumen
