Pay: $40.65 - $66.09 p/h (Depending on qualification & experience) + Super

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Dalby, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks. 
In This Role, You Will 
- Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care 
- Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team 
- Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence 
- Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

- Work in a full-time capacity between operating hours 7am – 6pm, Monday – Friday.

- With 5 rooms and space for 74 children, our centre layout allows educators to focus on quality interactions and meaningful connections. 
- Proven leadership and people management experience in the early childhood sector. 
- A genuine passion for early learning and child development. 
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. 
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, from staffing to programming and compliance.

You’ll Need 
- Bachelor of Early Childhood or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved) 
- Current QLD Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification 
- Willingness to undergo a Police Check
