Job description:
Lismore Workers Golf Club is now seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual as Apprentice greenkeeper to be an active member of the Course Maintenance Team in the performance of necessary Course Maintenance and green keeping duties as outlined by the Sports Turf Manager.
Apprentice Sports Turf Managers will expand skills and knowledge as they are developed through formal role-based and workplace training.
Assist with the day-to-day maintenance operation and presentation of the golf course.

Education and Training:
* 4-year Apprenticeship
* Completion Qualification: Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
* Recognized AQF3 chemical certification
An apprenticeship provides combined on-the-job learning with structured training, where apprentices will learn an array of specialist practical skills and knowledge relevant Sports Turf Management.
General Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills
* Drivers licence and own transport (desirable but not essential)
* Thoroughly assist in all safety training needs and procedures
* Works with the Manager and other Maintenance Team staff to constantly improve the golf course, club grounds, maintenance facility and safety programs
