Job Description
We are seeking experienced operators for our Ultra Heavy Haulage division. This is a challenging role that requires the ability to operate trucks, trailers and equipment safely.
Main Responsibilities
* Truck and equipment safety
* Operation of trucks, trailers and equipment
* Loading and unloading machinery safely
* Familiarity with light to heavy equipment hazards and safety precautions
* Cleaning and maintaining equipment standards
* Securing loads using chains, locks and straps
* Knowledge of road codes, defensive driving and transport laws
* Familiarity with local areas and routes
* Awareness of emergency procedures and hazardous road conditions
* Assessing manual handling risks
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experienced float operator
* Ability to work on a 2/1 roster with 12-hour shifts
* Willingness to work overtime as required
