About the Role:
Ready to shape your career while making a real impact? As our Senior Mental Health Clinician, you'll bring your expertise and creativity to delivering early intervention mental health support for young people experiencing mild to moderate challenges.
This is your chance to lead with innovation, driving high-quality, evidence-based care through the headspace stepped care model, all while creating a welcoming space that motivates young people to reach out early for support.
You'll manage a meaningful caseload while providing expert clinical supervision and secondary consultation to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring therapeutic interventions are safe, culturally respectful, family-inclusive, and tailored to the diverse needs of young people. You will also support staff development and contributing to pathways for students and graduates, you'll be part of shaping how we care for young people's mental health.
Your role goes beyond the clinic, you'll foster continuous improvement by reviewing feedback, clinical outcomes, and group programs, ensuring our services keep evolving to best support young people and their families. Collaboration and professionalism are key as you connect with external stakeholders and actively champion Brophy and headspace's mission in our community.

Do your skills include:
* Demonstrated experience and advanced skills in delivering mental health interventions in a range of mental health settings to young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health presentations.
* Advanced clinical skills in managing young people at risk, including suicide and violence risks.
* Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision and skill development, including secondary consultations.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the appropriate legislation, case management practice, and the ability to adhere to policy and procedures.
* Proven track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Are your credentials:
Essential
* Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (APHRA); Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or other Allied Mental Health Professional registration authority
* A current Drivers Licence
Desirable
* Current eligibility as an Allied Mental Health Professional to provide Medicare funded psychological therapies.
* Current registration as an APHRA approved supervisor for psychology internships
