Location
Bluey's Bistro and Smokehouse is open for Lunch and Dinner, Wednesday – Sunday, offering Low 'n'slow BBQ meats, burgers, ribs and much more! It is a fast‐paced but friendly atmosphere where teamwork is essential to delivering high quality experience for guests.
What's Involved
As an Apprentice Chef, you will learn alongside qualified Chefs in all aspects of food preparation and presentation. Working with us allows you to learn and build experiences from skilled professionals within a commercial kitchen environment. You will be working at one of our great host venues, working with large quantities of food and a variety of seasonal ingredients. Key activities you can expect will be:
* Assist in the preparation, cooking and plating of dishes.
* Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, choppers, fryers, steamers under supervision.
* Learn different knife and cooking techniques.
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
* Clean, maintain and store kitchen equipment appropriately.
To suit this role, you will be an eager and motivated individual with a passion for food looking to kick‐start your culinary career! You will have good communication skills, seek out opportunities to learn and show initiative in your everyday duties.
