**About the Team**
The Co-Design and Engagement Branch plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the voices of the disability community are heard in shaping policies, processes, and initiatives.
**About the Role**
As an APS6 Co-Design and Engagement Officer, you will undertake complex work guided by legislation, policies, and precedents. You will provide technical, professional, and operational support, including designing and facilitating engagement sessions. Your role will involve liaising with internal and external stakeholders, representing the branch/division on complex issues.
- Coordinate critical data analysis and feedback to measure the effectiveness of engagement activities.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of targeted engagement strategies aligned with broader objectives.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate participation in engagement activities and events.
- Assist in the implementation of proactive engagement strategies, including event planning and calendar management.
**About you**
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Ability to influence effective community engagement program design through research and consultation mechanisms.
- Monitoring and evaluation skills for stakeholder engagement projects, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, including meeting coordination and stakeholder mapping.
- Understanding of the IAP2 engagement spectrum in the human services context.
- Proficiency in presenting to small groups of stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Project management experience and understanding of accessibility considerations.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an **Australian Citizen.
