You will be actively involved in all essential day-to-day farm operations. Key responsibilities include low-stress stock handling (utilising working dogs and side-by-sides) for mustering, drafting, and moving both cattle and sheep. You will also participate in crucial animal health management programs, including drenching, vaccination, and treating sick or injured stock. A component of the role involves the basic operation and maintenance of farm machinery (tractors, implements, vehicles) and contributing to general property maintenance, including fencing repairs, water infrastructure upkeep, and assisting with pasture management activities.
