About The Role
We're looking for an experienced and motivated
Senior Associate Civil Engineer
to join our team in Townsville, where you'll help deliver major transport infrastructure projects that make a real impact across Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with one of Australia's leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancies, right here in Townsville.
As a
Senior Associate Civil Engineer
, you'll take the lead on a range of significant road and highway infrastructure projects. You'll manage multidisciplinary teams, drive project delivery from concept to completion, and play a key role in expanding our local presence through business development and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
* Leading and managing the design and delivery of road and highway projects across Queensland
* Developing project teams and mentoring junior engineers
* Building strong client relationships and securing repeat and new business
* Contributing to strategic business development across the region
* Managing projects exceeding $1 million in value, on time and to budget
* Preparing and reviewing high-quality technical reports
About You
* Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
* Minimum 10 years' experience in road and highway design, with strong QLD market knowledge
* Proven experience in project management and delivery within a consultancy environment
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the broader business and marketing context
* Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
* Willingness to travel as needed (domestic or international)
