We're looking for a Senior Acoustics Engineer to join our team in Victoria and play a key role in delivering high-quality noise and vibration assessments for Jacobs projects across ANZ.
In this role, you will support and strengthen our Noise and Vibration capability, contributing to technical excellence and successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities -
* Lead and/or prepare proposals, ensuring strong technical and commercial inputs.
* Manage project delivery from planning through execution, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding results.
* Drive and deliver noise and vibration projects across diverse market sectors.
* Apply your deep understanding of legislative frameworks, including compliance with requirements across multiple State and Commonwealth jurisdictions.

Here's what you'll need
* Relevant degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineer or a related field such as Physics or Environmental Engineering with relevant consulting experience.
* A strong understanding of acoustic first principles and be able to demonstrate technical acumen in areas including noise and vibration modelling and prediction, evaluation of results, control of impacts, and monitoring.
* Proven experience in delivering environmental acoustics-related projects; building related acoustics experience is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills, including report writing and oral communication,
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.
* Membership and accreditation from relevant professional bodies (i.e., member of the Australian Acoustic Society and/or Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia and other State professional engineering schemes) is desirable.
