We are looking for a creative collaborative smart and energized team member with leadership and communications experience to join our high-performing Communications team.
You will be a key member of the team taking a long-range view to provide communication solutions that delivers real value mitigates risk and achieves stakeholder objectives. We are looking for someone to work collaboratively with our business areas leadership team and global colleagues to position protect and strengthen Raytheon Australias market position.
Expressions of interest are sought for a Deputy Director External Communications who wants to immerse themselves in a nationally significant business to partner with our Product Lines to communicate externally the impactful milestones of current programs. You will develop and execute strategic communications plans including stakeholder mapping and key message development.
You will be focused on achieving the business objectives of the company forming and maintaining close relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver compelling strategies and high-quality communications effects.
You will also be the deputy to the Director when required leading the team to deliver across a range of requirements like media engagement internal communications.
Skills and Experience
* Experience working in a dynamic team to deliver outcomes to defined timelines.
* A proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive competing priorities to successful completion.
* A proven ability to collaborate to develop strong customer relationships and innovative solutions.
* Knowledge of the defence industry and defence capabilities
* The positions may require availability to travel within Australia.
* Requires a University Degree in Marketing Public Relations or Communications or equivalent experience
