Are you passionate about supporting veterans and their families? Do you thrive in a leadership role where compassion meets can-do attitude? The Gympie RSL Veteran Services Centre is seeking a dedicated and driven Senior Wellbeing Case Manager to provide clinical leadership and case management.

About the role

As the Senior Wellbeing Case Manager, you will provide advanced clinical practice and leadership within the Gympie RSL Veteran Services Centre, supporting veterans and their families through high-quality, trauma-informed wellbeing and reintegration services.

Clinical service delivery

* Deliver trauma-informed wellbeing and reintegration services to veterans and families, including complex cases
* Lead consistent, high-quality engagement, assessment, and support practices across the team
* Manage a clinical caseload and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
* Provide specialist clinical assessment, intervention, and referral advice
* Support transition and reintegration planning through individualised wellbeing plans
* Respond to crisis situations with assessment, safety planning, and referral
* Maintain continuity of care through effective collaboration and communication

Intake, triage, and case coordination

* Oversee intake and triage to ensure timely and appropriate service responses
* Support clinical oversight functions, including risk assessment and management
* Deliver client-centred, culturally safe practice
* Support Wellbeing Advocates with caseloads, intake, and case reviews
* Build partnerships with community services, ESOs, and key stakeholders

Clinical leadership and supervision

* Provide expert advice and secondary consultation to Wellbeing Advocates
* Deliver clinical supervision, mentoring, and guidance to staff and volunteers
* Promote staff wellbeing and a supportive team culture
* Assist with onboarding, training, and professional development
* Actively participate in team meetings and supervision

Service quality, compliance, and professional practice

* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with requirements
* Contribute to service improvement, quality, and accreditation activities
* Practice in line with ethical, organisational, and evidence-based standards
* Promote inclusive and culturally respectful service delivery
* Commit to ongoing professional development and self-care

About you

You are an experienced and values-driven professional who brings both clinical expertise and leadership capability. You are confident supporting complex presentations and thrive in collaborative, community-based environments.

You will bring:

* A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, or Nursing
* Lived or professional experience working with veterans, veteran families, or veteran-focused programs
* A strong understanding of the challenges faced by current and former defence personnel and their families
* Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or supervising staff
* Advanced assessment, case management, and coordination skills
* Excellent communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills
* The ability to manage and prioritise a complex caseload
* A commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally safe practice

Mandatory requirements

* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card or equivalent)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Maintenance of all required professional registrations and licences
