The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Structural Engineer to join our Warrnambool office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your extensive experience in designing structural components for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
We seek a passionate individual who excels in design and documentation, possesses strong commercial awareness, and is committed to delivering outstanding projects. You will demonstrate the attributes needed to contribute to team leadership and leverage off both your technical and interpersonal skills to align with the goals and aspirations of the company.
Reporting to the Structural Team Leader, you will collaborate with engineering teams across multiple offices to deliver exciting projects across various sectors.
About You
To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
* 4-year Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent program accredited by Engineers Australia.
* 7+ years of applied design and documentation experience in structural engineering with 4+ years of local (Australian) experience.
* Registered as a Professional Engineer and endorsed to work in the building industry by the Business Licensing Authority of Victoria.
* Design experience in timber, masonry, concrete and steel.
* Experience with engineering analysis software – SPACE GASS and Structural Toolkit preferred.
* Site experience including supervision, investigation and report writing.
* Ability to compile Scope of Work documents and Fee Proposals.
* Strong knowledge of Australian codes, standards, authority requirements, and legislation.
* Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to manage internal and external relationships effectively.
* Proven team collaboration and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Strong commercial acumen and project management skills.
* Construction Industry White Card.
* Proven ability to win work.
* Chartered Status or Eligible for Chartered Status with Engineers Australia.
* Experience with Inducta SLB and RAPT software.
