About the Role
We are looking for a happy, bubbly and well organised Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Kalgoorlie Office.
The role will be 2-3 days per week, Monday to Wednesday (Tuesday and Wednesday as a minimum). Work hours will fall between 8.00am - 5.00pm. Flexibility is required with start and finish times to meet clinic requirements.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
2. Manage all patient documentation, including electronic record system, ensuring accurate data entry.
3. Promptly and courteously manage incoming phone calls.
4. Book and confirm patients for non-invasive tests in advance, providing test and billing information.
5. Generate accurate accounts and receipts, ensuring billing details are accurate.
6. Process EFTPOS, credit card, cash and cheque transactions.
7. Conduct weekly banking tasks.
8. Manage appointment bookings efficiently.
9. Maintain the Practice environment to a high standard, adhering to WHS requirements.
10. Collaborate effectively with technical and administrative staff from Western Cardiology.
11. Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in daily duties.
12. Undertake various administration duties as required.
About You:
* Experienced in a Medical Receptionist or similar role.
* Experience in Accounts/patient is desirable, but not essential.
* Proficient in medical practice management software.
* Demonstrates a high level of patient care/customer service and excellent communication skills.
* Able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work autonomously.
