Overview
Armadale District Surgery is looking for a proactive, reliable and friendly registered nurse to join our team on a 12+ Month Maternity Leave Contract starting in May 2026. This role is a part-time role for a 5-day fortnight and holiday leave cover. You would be joining our supportive and friendly team of 3 doctors, 2 nurses, 1 psychologist and 3 physiotherapists.
About this role
* Willing to work Monday, Thursday and every 2nd Friday/Wednesday, with fulltime holiday cover when required.
* Providing care in general practice
* Treatment room duties including but not limited to:
o Immunisations
o Wound Care Management
o Ear Syringing, ECG, Spirometry and ABIs
o Preparation of Chronic Disease Management Care Plans and Health Assessments
o INR's and venesections
o Recalls, reminders and stock control
The successful candidate will need
* Registration with AHPRA
* Ability to work autonomously
* National Police Clearance Certificate
* Experience with Best Practice
* Ability to work autonomously using one's own initiative as well within in a team environment
* Ability to use e-mail, word processing and database applications
