Job Description
The primary role of the Application Manager is to oversee the day-to-day operations of Applications team, focusing on delivering enterprise applications for clinical and administrative functions across Queensland Health.
* Develop, implement, and maintain workforce and operational business plans to ensure optimal performance of the team.
This involves managing service levels by ensuring changes to components supporting enterprise applications are understood and managed. Additionally, restoring services in major incidents within defined timelines ensures continuity in critical healthcare processes.
About This Role
1. Analyzing ITIL Service Management processes including incident/problem/change/release management with a focus on continuous improvement opportunities.
2. Maintaining expertise in managing clinical applications' integration with technical environments under strict compliance requirements such as Cerner's product suite.
3. Coordinating diverse activities across organisational boundaries while working closely with stakeholders to meet agreed-upon customer-centric delivery targets through rigorous contractual agreements enforcement.
