Westpac is hiring a Forecast Analyst, Group Customer Operations. This full-time role is based in Sydney (Kent St), Adelaide (Festival Towers) or Melbourne (Collins St) and sits within the Business Performance team.
What’s the role?
As a Forecast Analyst, you’ll help Group Operations leaders make informed decisions about workforce planning. You’ll translate business change into meaningful forecasting insights, ensuring we have the right people in the right roles at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Translate business change into forecasting insights to support workforce planning decisions.
- Work with data to generate accurate forecasts and scenario analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data and reporting needs.
- Ensure forecasts align with business strategies and capacity planning.
What do I need?
We’re looking for someone who’s analytical, curious, and confident working with data to drive business outcomes. You’ll thrive in ambiguity and enjoy making complex information simple and actionable.
- Strong skills in data modelling and analytics, with experience using Excel, Tableau or PowerBI.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R or similar scripting languages.
- Ability to interpret large datasets and convert them into clear, compelling insights.
- Excellent communication skills—you can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build solid relationships across teams.
