Chip Truck Driver Position
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chip Truck Driver to transport wood chips from infield chipping sites to the Port of Portland.
* Collect woodchip infield and deliver to the Port of Portland.
* Complete all necessary documentation associated with the delivery process.
* Ensure safe and efficient transportation of wood chips while maintaining compliance with safety, fatigue, and National Heavy Vehicle Regulations.
* Maintain good care of vehicles under your control.
* Verify adherence to company guidelines and regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Transporting wood chips from infield chipping sites to the Port of Portland.
* Safely and efficiently delivering wood chips while ensuring compliance with safety standards and heavy vehicle regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Holding a current Heavy Vehicle Driver's License (MC or HC) with ability to upgrade to MC.
* Prior experience operating chip trucks is preferred.
* Familiarity with applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation, Main Road Heavy vehicle legislation, and permitting standards.
* Able to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution.
* Ability to collaborate well within a small team environment.
