Job Description :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to our legal department, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities :
* Document Management : Prepare, scan, and file legal documents, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
* Calendar Management : Coordinate attorneys' schedules, book appointments, and manage travel arrangements.
* Research : Conduct legal research using various databases and resources.
* Communication : Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.
* Database Management : Maintain and update client and case information in our legal database.
* Billing : Assist in the preparation and processing of legal invoices.
* Administrative Support : Provide general administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
Qualifications :
* Ideal for a current law student able to commit to full time employment.
* Previous experience in a legal administrative role preferred.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
