We are seeking experienced Community Support Workers with good availability and a passion for providing excellent care to support our participants in Bendigo.
As a Community Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals living with disability, helping them to build independence and participate in everyday activities. Support may be provided in the home or out in the community and can include personal care, domestic tasks, social engagement, transport to appointments and activities, and skill-building.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growing organisation. Remuneration commencing at $43.23 per hour for casual employees.
Applicants must be available for at least four days per week, with Saturday availability preferred. Most shifts are shorter in duration and are mainly offered during morning (6:30am–10:00am) or evening (3:00pm–7:00pm) time slots.

* A qualification or experience in Disability Services/Aged Care/Individual Support/Home and Community Care or similar field. Applicants with lived experience are also encouraged to apply.
* Experience in supporting people with complex needs and support requirements
* Strong ethics and genuine approach towards participant dignity and safety and Work Health and Safety.
* Adaptability, flexibility, resilience and respond positively to change.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Well-developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
* Dedication to their job and their team.
* Good presentation and a professional attitude.
