This is what our team said when we asked them what they liked about working at VHC:
* "It really feels like a community. Everyone is welcoming and makes time to have a chat. It's a great place to be, especially as a neurodivergent who hasn't had many environments like that"
* "I love working collaboratively with people from a range of backgrounds and skills. It's a friendly and safe space".
* "We're hilarious I don't feel judged if my brain is scattered or I'm overwhelmed. The understanding and empathy for how you're feeling and how you work is really refreshing. I didn't realise the amount of pressure I felt to be "neurotypical" in other jobs until I started this one."
* "Everyone is passionate about supporting ND humans. We have a diverse range of clinicians with different backgrounds, and this makes for a healthy workplace to discuss the work that we do."
* "There have been so many opportunities for growth since I've worked here. I've had ample opportunities for supervision and training and a wealth of resources to learn from. I feel very lucky."
* "I look forward to my days at VHC. It's been unlike any other workplace I feel lucky to be here but also appreciated, and like they feel lucky too. It's a symbiotic relationship."
* "The CPD subjects are interesting; we have a variety of different formats, which is brilliant."
* "It's not your regular workplace, which makes it an awesome workplac.e"
This is what our team said when we asked them what they would say to psychs thinking about applying for a job at VHC:
* "Apply if: you are struggling at your current workplace because they aren't supporting you as a neurodivergent person; if you want to work with people who you can feel safe to unmask with; and if you want to empower and support other people to feel comfortable and safe in their neurodiversity"
* "Do it If you feel like the VHC values resonate with yours, then it might just be the perfect fit"
* "Just do it Especially if you're neurodivergent. I get so much more work done at VHC compared to other workplaces because I get to work from home, in an environment optimised to how my brain works, around people who don't judge me for the way I work. I didn't realise how exhausting I used to find work, until I got to try this format, and now I don't think I can go back to the "normal" way."
* "That you should do it Just apply now you won't regret it"
* "Only cool ppl allowed"
