**About the Role**
As part of our Retail Banking Divison, BOQ Group currently has an opportunity available as a Change and Continuous Improvement Specialist. We currently have 1x Permanent Vacany and 1x 12 month Fixed-Term Vacancy.
The role will support implementation of the Retail Organisational Change and Continuous Improvement strategy to foster positive connections between our teams and the Retail Bank's change and continuous improvement agenda, achieve increases in key metrics across change adoption and engagement, and contribute to driving positive customer and people sentiment across our Retail brands and channels.
Key responsibilities:
- Consistently and effectively supporting execution of the Retail Organisational Change and Continuous Improvement strategy
- Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements for change and continuous improvement initiatives
- Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements, including estimating costs and identifying business savings
- Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions, and creating functional specifications for solutions
- Providing input to change impact assessments and collaborating with stakeholders across the Group to support creation, execution and embedding of change and communications plans and materials that support Retail Brands and Distribution teams, influencing positive adoption of the Bank's change and continuous improvement agenda
- Continually assess risks and resistance and work with stakeholders to manage and mitigate
- With the leadership of the Scrum Master, participate in agile scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, in order to deliver the Bank's change and continuous improvement agenda
- Influence and engage stakeholders across the bank to ensure business readiness for change
- Support coordination of key governance practices (including annual and ad-hoc procedure reviews) and forums to ensure effective change management and continuous improvement prioritisation and execution across the Retail Division
- Consistently measure change and continuous improvement outcomes and impact, turning insights into actions to drive positive outcomes
- Mentor and coach peers across the bank to uplift change maturity
**About you**
- Previous experience and success in a change role within a retail distribution network (face to face and/or digital)
- A willingness to tackle complex problems and use critical thinking, your network, skills, knowledge, and available data to drive better outcomes for our colleagues, customers and BOQ Group
- Proven understanding of risk and compliance requirements
- Creating documents such as use cases and business requirement documents
- Tertiary or industry qualification is desired (Change Management related fields will be viewed favourably)
- Success in managing a broad variety of projects with competing priorities
