We are highly organised, mission driven, and operating at peak capacity, now, we invite a world class Operations Manager to master the day to day operations so the founders can focus on strategy and growth. This is not a theoretical or strategy only role; it is a high responsibility position for a "Master of Execution" who thrives on execution, technical logic, and operational precision.

The Mandate:

Your objective is to serve as the critical link between the company's strategic vision and its daily field execution.

You are not here to simply monitor systems; you are here to own them. You will lead from the front as a highly functional, motivated professional who possesses the emotional intelligence to build people up while maintaining elite standards. You will ensure that our established SOPs are treated as law, our profit margins are protected through rigorous oversight, and our technical team is optimised for peak performance. Your success is defined by the seamless delivery of the "Florance Standard" and the total elimination of operational friction.

Core Responsibilities:

* Workflow Optimisation: Full oversight of the scheduling department to ensure maximum billable density and logistical logic
* Standard Enforcement: Maintaining the "Florance Standard" through rigorous quality audits of digital job cards, technical documentation, and field performance of new staff members
* Operational Accountability: Serving as the primary lead for the technical team, managing performance, resolving field bottlenecks, and upholding a culture of high level output and daily operations
* System Refinement: Identifying if any friction points arise in our SOPs and implementing immediate, permanent solutions
* Team Development: You will lead the ongoing training of office staff. You will actively build our people up, turning apprentices into high-performers and ensuring the "Florance Standard" is taught, not just expected

The High-Performance Operator: You are a high-output individual driven by execution. You find "unfinished" tasks or "near enough" quality unacceptable. You are a natural "closer" who instinctively identifies open loops and shuts them before they become problems.

Technical Logic & Aptitude: While you don't need to be a qualified tradesperson, you must possess a sharp, logical mind required to understand trade-based scheduling, material requirements, and project timelines.

Empowered Autonomy / High-Impact Leadership: You thrive in an environment where you are trusted to lead. While the founders are always available for strategic support and mentorship, you prefer a role where you aren't micro-managed. Once trained in our systems and processes, you prefer autonomy and are comfortable making high stakes decisions under pressure.

Calm & Decisive Authority: You possess the emotional intelligence and presence to lead a diverse team, from apprentices to senior technicians and office staff. You lead from the front, setting the pace and the standard. Your approach is firm, fair, and consistently focused on solutions rather than excuses.
