Procurement Specialist Job Description
MMS is looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a key player in the organization's procurement strategy, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting business owners in selecting and managing key suppliers and contracts within MMS.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of procurement experience and possess excellent communication skills. You will be working closely with the Head of Procurement on governance, analysis, reporting, and compliance activities to reduce risk from supply markets and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and/or assist in supplier selection processes, ensuring suppliers are selected in accordance with the Procurement Policy and providing value to MMS.
* Be responsible for the management of certain suppliers and assist the business with same for all other tier 1 suppliers.
* Ad hoc analysis and reporting relating to specific suppliers or procurement processes.
* Assist in the implementation of the procurement strategy.
* Assist with all sustainability and modern slavery related activities.
What We Are Looking For
* Minimum 5 years of procurement experience.
* Experience in developing and executing procurement processes.
* Proven experience in preparation and ongoing management of regular reporting.
* Contract and supplier administration experience with an understanding of commercial and contracting terms and conditions.
* Proven expertise in supplier selection and management.
* Strong attention to detail and professional integrity.
* Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
