Our Service
We provide a one-stop hub and support for people aged 18 to 65 years currently experiencing or having experienced mental health issues.
Role Overview
You will deliver quality assessments, low-intensity brief interventions and evaluations as part of our clinical team.
You will participate in comprehensive mental health assessment, case coordination, intervention or group work as required; with specific responsibility to provide brief interventions.
You will complete intake assessments as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
1. one of the following: Social Worker with registration/eligibility, Counsellor with Level 2 registration, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse.
2. a demonstrated highly competent level of knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice with a comprehensive understanding within the continuum of care.
3. a demonstrated ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team utilising comprehensive communication skills to establish effective partnerships and provide consultation.
This includes but is not limited to people with a lived-experience of mental health recovery, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, LGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities.
