Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pharmacy services to inpatients and day-patients, including clinical pharmacy services, quality improvement activities and educational sessions.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy, with current general registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
* Experience in the provision of clinical pharmacy services and/or awareness of current issues in clinical pharmacy.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively and complete activities.
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
* Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person-centred patient care.
* Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
* Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
* Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles (desirable).
