Poolside Ivanhoe is seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Service Technician to join our team.
In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of residential swimming pools in the Ivanhoe and surrounding areas.
The role involves a mix of practical, hands-on work and customer service, ensuring our clients' pools are kept in pristine condition year-round.
What you'll be doing
Perform regular servicing and maintenance of swimming pools, including chemical testing, cleaning, backwashing and filtration system checks.
Identify and diagnose pool issues, and carry out necessary repairs and equipment replacements.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients, advising on pool care, and addressing any concerns.
Maintain detailed records of all work carried out.
Assist with the installation of new pool equipment and systems as required.
Ensure all work is conducted in line with relevant health and safety regulations.
Work in the retail store, if required.
What we're looking for
Must have experience as a Swimming Pool Service Technician
Minimum of 2+ years of swimming pool service technician experience is required
Strong practical and technical skills in swimming pool maintenance and repair
Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
Must hold a full car drivers licence
Working with children and police check
Must be an Australian permanent resident with full work rights
