The Mental Health Inpatient Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Nurse Unit Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

To provide nursing leadership in proactively managing and coordinating clinical practice and the provision of human, financial and material resources in accordance with organisational goals, ensuring a cost-effective nursing service focused on providing exceptional, evidence-based patient care within the Mental Health Inpatient Unit.
About the Team
Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service
The Mental Health and AOD Service is comprised of eight clinical teams across the MHHS. The Mental Health Service is responsible for the provision of comprehensive, specialised mental health assessment and treatment services across the age-spectrum for people with severe and complex mental health problems. Our services aim to be consumer focused and recovery oriented and are provided in a variety of settings including community, an acute inpatient unit, hospitals and emergency departments.
