The Role
Our team members support local families through many aspects of service delivery. Those on our volunteer team are encouraged to work in areas of our service that appeal to their interests and strengths. Tasks may involve volunteering as part of our material aid program, sorting out maternity and baby‑related items, running our op shop, creating media content and marketing or handling administrative duties. Other volunteer opportunities exist outside the formal premises, including joining our outdoor parent facilities team, taking on fundraising / event roles, or assisting with grant and funding applications (to name a few). Prior experience is not a requirement; what matters most is your positive and proactive attitude. Volunteers play a vital role in the success and vitality of our organisation. Our programs take around 4,000 volunteer hours per year to deliver. Your dedication and contribution will help keep this amazing mission alive and thriving. Flexible working arrangements can be accommodated.
About Olivia's Place
Olivia's Place is committed to supporting families through the highs and lows of pregnancy and early parenting. As mums and dads, the team at Olivia's Place has a great understanding of the need for support during pregnancy and the early parenting period. Our mission is to offer support during any stage of pregnancy and parenting in the first year of your child's life. We provide practical, material and emotional support, and a much‑needed link between those facing difficulties during pregnancy and early parenting and the services they need – all within a professional framework.

* Time Required: Olivia's Place opening hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10am to 2pm. Our Op‑Shop Little Livvy's opens the first Saturday of every month 9am‑12pm (hours could extend).
* Training: We will provide comprehensive training, support and guidance to ensure you feel confident in your role. The Volunteer Coordinator will be available to support you all the way.
