We're looking for a qualified Diesel Technician to join our high-performing Cat Rentals team in Laverton. This is a great opportunity to step into a dynamic part of the business, working across a diverse range of Caterpillar equipment while building your skills in both workshop and field service environments.
Based out of our Laverton branch, you'll play a key role in keeping our rental fleet performing at its best, with the opportunity to get out on site as required.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Cat Rentals team currently have a vacancy for a highly skilled Diesel Technician. This position offers the opportunity to join an exciting part of the business and gain experience in servicing and maintaining Caterpillar equipment. You will be based out of our Laverton branch, with field service work as required.
Your typical day will look a little like this:
* Trouble‐shooting, repairing and maintenance of Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines
* Starting your day off in a Cats meeting, discussing safety & new topics
* Compiling and completing accurate reporting
* Working as a team to manage your time and maximise efficiency
* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills/experience:
* A fully qualified Diesel Technician with practical experience
* Previous experience working on Cat machinery
* A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
* A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
