SAP Delivery & Operations Manager leading a specialised recruitment team providing SAP consultants across Australia & Internationally
SAP BTP EDI Specialist – end user role in Melbourne.
You'll develop, implement, and support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions using the SAP BTP Integration Platform.
You'll collaborate with business users and technical teams to ensure seamless, secure, and efficient data exchange between internal systems and external trading partners.
This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on project delivery and application support across enterprise-level environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop EDI solutions using SAP BTP Integration Platform.
Configure EDI mappings, transformations, and communication protocols (AS2, sFTP, etc.).
Manage EDI document types (X12, EDIFACT, API) for system integrations.
Implement and maintain integrations with external systems and trading partners.
Ensure automated, secure, and reliable integration processes with robust error handling.
Troubleshoot and optimise EDI performance issues.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Participate in testing phases (SIT, UAT) and provide post-production support.
Document integration processes and workflows for compliance and future reference.
Stay current with EDI and integration technology trends.
Skills & Experience4+ years of experience as an EDI Developer, with hands-on SAP BTP Integration Platform expertise.
Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS) and protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP).
Experience with Trading Partner Management (TPM), Managed File Transfer (MFT), and B2B integrations.
Familiarity with BTP EDI Adapter and related components.
Proficiency in oDATA, IDOCs, XML, XSLT, and web services (SOAP/REST).
Basic SAP ERP data mapping knowledge.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
