The Site Operations Manager will oversee daily site activities related to civil and mechanical construction, ensuring alignment with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
This role is responsible for managing daily site operations, including overseeing contractors and subcontractors, reviewing project milestones, and maintaining accurate records.
* Oversight of daily site operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
* Liaison with contractors and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and timely progress of works.
* Review of project milestones, construction drawings, and adherence to design specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Maintenance of accurate records, including site diaries, quality assurance documents, and daily progress reports.
* Promotion and enforcement of health, safety, and environmental protocols on site, identifying and mitigating potential risks proactively.
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering (civil or mechanical engineering preferred) with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership being advantageous.
* Experience in water infrastructure projects, particularly in construction or maintenance roles.
* Strong understanding of methodologies, including interpretation of technical drawings and specifications, and application of relevant codes and standards.
* Proficiency in site documentation and systems, including familiarity with construction management tools.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills, with ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
