Property Management Growth Role: We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager with Leasing responsibilities to play a key role in growing our property management business and expanding our rent roll.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated real estate professional who thrives on building relationships, setting strategic goals, and delivering results. You will work closely with the Agency Principal, Operations Manager, and Property Management team to drive sustainable growth while also supporting leasing activities such as open homes and landlord communication.
A generous base salary plus commissions and performance bonuses is on offer for the right candidate.
About the Role
In this dual role, you will be responsible for growing the rent roll through new business development while also supporting the leasing function to ensure excellent service delivery to landlords and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development
· Identify, pursue, and convert new management opportunities
· Grow the rent roll through prospecting, referrals, and lead conversion
· Set, track, and achieve agreed KPIs and growth targets
· Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, referral partners, and industry professionals
· Develop and implement effective sales and growth strategies
· Follow up internal and external leads consistently
· Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends
· Contribute to the agency's brand, reputation, and professional profile
Leasing & Client Support:
· Conduct open homes and private inspections
· Communicate proactively with landlords, providing updates and feedback
· Support the leasing process including applications, approvals, and handovers
· Collaborate with the property management team on retention and rent roll performance
· Assist with lease preparation, administration support, and arrears checks where required
About You:
· Current Real Estate Sales Agent Licence or Registration
· Proven experience as a BDM, Leasing Consultant, or Sales Agent (property management experience highly regarded)
· Strong drive, ambition, and results-focused mindset
· Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills
· Confident relationship builder with a professional approach
· Highly organised, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
· Tech-savvy with experience using CRM and property management systems
· Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
