Job Overview
Corpay is looking for a motivated Business Development Associate to join our thriving sales team to generate new business in the FinTech market. This role is based in Perth, Australia, and will involve targeting new clients via internal leads, leveraging your network, and proactively reaching out to new businesses. You will develop a monthly sales plan, manage its execution to meet targets, and address any shortfalls in delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Drive to achieve monthly targets by identifying and qualifying prospects.
* Set appointments with prospects for online discussions or face‐to‐face meetings with experienced Business Development Managers.
* Follow the sales process to gain knowledge and skills required to advance your career.
* Continue marketing prospects not yet ready to move to Corpay by periodic calls, timely market updates, and marketing materials.
* Make regular updates to the company CRM system (Salesforce.com).
* Source and generate leads for potential new business.
Qualifications & Skills
* Excellent selling skills in a B2B environment.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to use cold calling to generate appointments and develop exceptional customer relationships.
* Proven ability in closing sales and delivering a high level of customer service.
* Drive to achieve monthly targets by identifying and qualifying prospects.
