This is a Recruitment Pool for suitably qualified Clinical Nurses covering:
Permanents (Full Time, Part Time), Fixed Term (Full Time, Part Time) with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.
The following should be noted:
The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis.

Overview of the role
You are invited to join our team at the Albany Inpatient Mental Health Unit as a dedicated Clinical Nurse.
This role is crucial in providing safe and high-quality patient-focused care for individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges.
As a member of our healthcare team, you will model exemplary clinical practice, ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation and policies affecting the care of the mentally ill.
In the capacity of Clinical Nurse, you will coordinate the operational management of the unit, mentor nursing staff, and lead educational initiatives to enhance patient care.
Your role involves providing expert clinical advice, conducting patient assessments, and improving healthcare services through participation in quality and research programs.
As a key figure in your team, you will also engage in decision-making and resource planning, ensuring that our care standards are met consistently.
Ideal Candidate
Eligible for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Proven advanced nursing practice experience in a relevant setting of mental health.
Strong planning, coordination, and decision-making skills.
Effective team leadership and collaborative skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledgeable in quality and risk management practices.
Proficient in navigating digital platforms for internal communication and online learning.
Key Responsibilities
Provide patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care delivery.
Act as a clinical expert, advising on clinical standards and practices in collaboration with nursing management.
Lead multi-disciplinary services, ensuring high standards of healthcare delivery.
Monitor nursing practice and implement strategies to enhance care quality.
Facilitate patient education needs, coordinating relevant programmes.
