Role
You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
* Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
* Dusting, polishing and general tidying
* Cleaning bathroom facilities
* Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' rooms
* Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices
* Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required
* Laundering, pressing/ironing and folding items such as linens, towelling and residents' garments
* Cleaning/kitchen cloths, mops and garments
* Utilising washing, drying, extracting, pressing, folding or other industrial machines/equipment, as required
* Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry

Qualifications
* Ideally background in laundries or cleaning within aged care or hospitality
* Willingness to take direction from others
* Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team
* Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
* Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate, etc.)
* Valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
