Production Machine Level I
The Production Machine Level I performs basic set-ups and operates production machines to achieve all company targets and standards. This position requires running at least 3 production machines such as Trim, Tapping, Oval Lock, Assembly, Sorting and Roll ID.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Performs basic set up and operates automatic machines to produce parts according to blueprints, specifications and/or special instructions.
2. Recognizes and detects machine out-of-tolerance and adjust controls or control media as required.
3. Performs trial runs to check accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
4. Checks parts for conformance to specifications using gauges, SPC and shop floor system.
5. Remedies minor machine malfunctioning and in-process inspections.
6. Determines and performs proper feed and speed combinations.
7. Provides information to Manufacturing team, Engineering Team or others to document procedures and drawings.
8. Performs work operations under supervision.
9. Checks tooling and reworks as needed to keep machine running.
10. Lays out parts for successive and continuous machining operations.
11. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
12. Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows all safety regulations.
13. Complies with Federal, Local, and State government, LISI Aerospace, and HSE Procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
* Working experience of manufacturing environment procedures.
* Minimum of 1 - 3 years experience and/or training within an Aerospace fastener manufacturing &/or industrial shop; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
