About the Role
Data privacy is a top priority. As a key member of the Privacy Team, you'll help ensure Endeavour Group's commitment to data protection. With the rapid development of privacy, tech, and AI in Australia and globally, this is an exciting space to be in. We seek a highly knowledgeable and passionate individual with great interpersonal skills, ready to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
This role supports the Privacy Lead and involves enhancing Endeavour Group's privacy compliance and implementing a comprehensive privacy framework across the organisation. The position is based remotely within Australia, ideally in Melbourne or Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert privacy advice to ensure Endeavour Group remains compliant.
* Conduct thorough privacy impact assessments to identify potential risks.
* Develop and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines to support data protection.
* Assist in managing privacy incidents and regulatory notifications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Cyber, Compliance, and Data Governance, to strengthen the company's privacy culture.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of privacy training programs.
* Participate in strategic initiatives related to data privacy, including responsible data use and AI.
* Identify and mitigate potential privacy risks.
* Provide guidance on regulatory changes and best practices.
* Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Support the delivery of privacy initiatives and projects.
* Promote knowledge sharing and process improvement within the Privacy Team.
We're looking for a qualified professional with a strong understanding of privacy law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
Requirements:
* 3-4+ years of experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory roles, preferably in privacy, technology, or commercial law.
* In-depth knowledge of Australian data privacy laws and regulations.
* Proven ability to draft policies and conduct privacy impact assessments.
* Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
* Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
* Familiarity with privacy frameworks and data governance principles.
* An interest in data, AI, and emerging technologies.
