About Us

Netball WA (NWA) is the peak state sporting organisation responsible for the governance, development and promotion of netball across Western Australia. Our vision is to be "the best on and beyond the court" — a world-class sport organisation respected for transforming lives through netball.

The Role

Reporting to the Membership Services Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and administration of membership and affiliation services across the NWA community. This role works closely with the Stakeholder Engagement team and provides support to the GM Community Netball with Awards and Recognition portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high‑quality member support via PlayHQ
* Assist with financial administration—processing invoices and managing refunds
* Manage the Single Game Voucher system
* Administer annual Member Association affiliation and insurance processes
* Maintain the NWA Working with Children register in line with legislative requirements
* Keep membership and stakeholder databases accurate and up to date
* Prepare documents and reports as required
* Support communications and engagement activities led by the Membership Services Manager
* Administer Life Members, past players and awards databases
* Coordinate Life Member and past player events and functions
* Provide administration support to Awards and Recognition Committee meetings
* Assist with NWA competitions as required
* Uphold and promote NWA's values and policies, including child safeguarding standards

Essential Criteria:

* Strong written communication and report‑writing skills
* Excellent planning, organisation and time‑management abilities
* Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility with work hours, including occasional weekends
* Understanding of appropriate behaviours when working with children
* A current WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence
* Commitment to child safety and safeguarding practices

Desirable:

* 1–2 years' experience in a similar role
* Experience using PlayHQ or similar membership databases
* Experience in member‑based associations or sporting organisations

Hours of Work

This is a permanent part-time role, working 17.5 hours (0.46FTE) per week. The sport industry operates outside of traditional business hours, including weekends. To succeed in this role, you must be willing and able to work when and where sport is happening. We have a flexible approach to ensuring our people can balance their family life and personal commitments alongside the demands of the industry. .
